The "Fair Trade Festival" will take place from 27.07.2012-29.07.2012 for the third time. It focuses on the theoretical idea of fair trade and what is done in practice.
Important components of the festival is the market where you can buy a variety of fair trade products, a platform for presentations, and a stage for concerts. Also art exhibitions are welcome.
The festival is not intended as a promotional event for the established fair trade brands, but provides a place for critical engagement with the current economic system, and also the alternatives that provide the actors who drive under the label of fair trade commerce.
Of course fairtragen will have a booth and we are looking forward to this great festival!
